Welcome to this craziness

So I have caved into society.  As much as the mini hipster inside me wanted to protest this, I decided to start a blog.  I'm sure the MTV show Awkward. has inspired young 'uns to blog, cause I know that it tipped me over the fence.
To start this little thingy off, (cause I honestly don't know how to start this dang thing) My name is Hannah and I would like you to get to know me before you join me on this journey.  My cyber friends know me as the Graphicgeek.  I am starting my senior year in high school  next fall, and I'm completely mortified to grow up.  A little part of me wants to still be in third grade and sit in my little corner reading Harry Potter and coloring with my crayons.  Like every other artistic high school student, I have big dreams.  I want to someday become an animation and special effects artist, and if that doesn't pan out for me, I want to do special effects makeup for film and theater.  The music taste I have is pretty straightforward.  I pretty much love anything that has shredding metal guitar in it.  I love 80s pop and hair bands, and there is an occasion where I will listen to more peaceful things like Mumford and Sons, Phillip Phillips, and Florence and the Machine.  My all time favorite band is Dream Theater. (I have been a fan of them since I was probably 4
years old )  I'm a bit quirky, and completely socially awkward, but I'm kinda okay with that.  I'm fine with sitting in my corner reading my books and keeping to myself, because, frankly, that's what has kept my grades at a 4.0 level.  Before you go and judge, no I'm not one of those self righteous know it alls.  In fact, I have many flaws.  Like Michelle Phan says "I am perfectly imperfect".  Well that's enough about me.  If you have any questions about my general weirdness, just message me--or whatever it is that you do to contact someone on here. (Note: I may be tech savvy, but I have no idea how this blogging thing works.)
I guess this is where the rubber meets the road and I tell you all about the journey that you all are going to embark on with me.  I have always kept a journal, but seldom ever kept up with it.  There are maybe a few entries throughout the year, but far from being religiously kept.  I am a senior this year, and I don't want to forget any of it.  I want to look back, and read this twenty odd years down the line and laugh, cry, and smile at the ups and downs.  You all are going to join me on my little adventure of my last year in high school--that is if you still are willing to be with me after all of this minutia. I will document my experience through supposedly the glory year of high school, and there will be little that I will leave out.  Knowing my personal life, however, there wont be many gruesome deets.
Whelp, here it goes.  Welcome to my little corner of the Cyber Space, and I hope you make yourself nice and comfy with popcorn and other yummy pleasures, cause this is gonna be a long year.
